barbelinRemain active in the Saint Joseph's Community through the SJU Alumni Association.  By sharing your news, participating in campus and regional activities or taking advantage of exclusive offers, you remain connected to a network of more than 45,000 alumni worldwide, who have been instilled with the same unwavering spirit of the Hawk.

As a member of the Alumni Association, you are invited and encouraged to participate in any of the activities run by the National Alumni Board, as well as the many other university events held both on and off campus.  SJU Magazine, performances by Cap and Bells, athletics events, discounts by corporate partners, as well as Reunion Weekend and Alumni Awards ceremonies are just some of the ways you can get involved and take advantage of your membership.

National Alumni Board / Chapters
The National Alumni Board was established to reflect the growth and development of the alumni population. Regional chapters are being established in Philadelphia, Boston, New York and Washington, D.C. and current affinity chapters exist in accounting, law, medicine and construction/real estate.

Career Development and Services
Career counseling is a joint offering of the Career Development Center and Alumni Relations Office. Schedule an appointment with a career counselor for resume assistance, job search strategies, on-line listings, alumni contacts and career fairs and networking nights.

Alumni Service Opportunities
Saint Joseph's distinguishes itself by alumni and students, who are "men and women for others." Whether you are interested in participating in a community service project, an on-campus program, or serving as a reunion chair, SJU continues to offer alumni numerous service and volunteer opportunities.

Spirituality
SJU continues to serve as a spiritual source for many alumni who continue to attend mass on campus, participate in Spiritual Exercises, or attend retreats and days of reflection.

University Facilities
Drexel and Campbell Libraries, as well as research opportunities on the internet, are available for free use to all alumni. Sports Complex memberships are also available with to SJU alumni at discounted rates.

Education and Academic Services
SJU graduates are instilled with a life-long love of learning. Alumni are able to continue to pursue academic opportunities by auditing undergraduate courses free of charge when space is available. In addition, the registrar's office can provide transcript services.

Corporate Partner Benefits/Discounts
Alumni have the opportunity to take advantage of benefits and discounts extend by university corporate partners, including special insurance rates from Liberty Mutual, exclusive travel opportunities, discounted airport parking and more.

Affinity License Plates and Credit Cards
Alumni living in Pennsylvania and Delaware can show their passion for their alma mater by requesting an official Saint Joseph's University license plate. In addition, MBNA offers a Saint Joseph's affinity Platinum Plus MasterCard, which offers a great introductory rate and helps to support the University.

Reunions
Every five years, reunions invite graduates to reconnect with their fellow Hawks as a class. Class committees, in partnership with the Office of Alumni Relations, help organize the events.

Awards
Each year, Saint Joseph's recognizes alumni who have shown outstanding service to the university, their profession or the community. The Shield of Loyola, and the Hogan and Ignatius Awards are just a few of the honors that recognize alumni for their contributions.

Volunteer Opportunities
Many opportunities exist to lend your time and experience to your alma mater.  Whether you serve on an alumni chapter executive board, chair a  reunion committee or participate in alumni surveys, you can help give back to Saint Joseph's in many ways.
