“You are called by the Society of Jesus to be men and women who reflect upon the reality of the world around you with the ambiguities, opportunities and challenges in order to discern what is really happening in your life and in the lives of others, to find God there and to discover where God is calling you, to employ criteria for significant choices that reflect Godly values rather than narrow, exclusive self-interest, to decide in the light of what is truly for the Greater Glory of God and the service of those in need, and then to act accordingly.”
The Very Reverend Hans-Peter Kolvenbach, S.J.
The 29th Superior General of the Society of Jesus
Upholding Jesuit ideals is not only a priority for SJU students, but for our alumni as well. Knowing the importance of religion in the life of our alumni, we provide opportunities for you to strengthen your bond with God through mission programs, service trips and pre-marriage counseling.

Interested in growing in faith and leadership? Consider becoming a Contemplative Leader in Action.
Contemplative Leaders in Action (CLA) is a two-year faith formation and leadership development program rooted in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. While the program nurtures individual growth, it also strives to develop a cohort of leaders who can bring the dynamics of faith and justice to lead their families, co-workers and communities.
