The Saint Joseph’s Law Alumni Chapter upholds a proud tradition of reflecting the Ignatian values through service as men and women for others. The Chapter contributes to current University life and advances the legal profession through its focus on scholarship, professional kinship and mentoring for graduates aspiring to the Bar.
We support the professional development of our members by hosting at
least two events each year and also by operating two mentor programs:
one for undergraduate students considering law as a profession and
another for current law school students and graduates. The Law Alumni
Mentor Program helps our graduates find summer or career positions.
To fulfill our Mission we:
- Encourage contact and interaction among our members, SJU faculty and current students to promote the responsible study and practice of the law
- Serve as a source of information, support, guidance and supplemental education for students and fellow alumni planning and working in the legal profession
- Assist in advancing legal-related studies at the University through expertise sharing, collaboration and philanthropy
