Founded in 1977, the Faith-Justice Institute serves the university as a center that promotes social analysis and critical thought on faith and justice issues through its certificate program, service-learning courses, and outreach lectures.

Jesuit Refugee Service
JRS/USA is the central U.S. coordinating office of JRS International. Founded in 1981, under the auspices of the Society of Jesus, JRS operates programs for refugees in more than 40 countries in Asia, Africa, the Americas, Europe, and Australia. Programs include Pastoral Care, Education, Health Care, and Vocational training.
